ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as Lab Officers based in Mwanza, Tanzania.

The Lab Officer is responsible to strengthen the implementation and management of laboratory quality assurance activities including training, mentorship, and supportive supervision of ICAP supported regions, councils, and sites in the region. The Lab Officer will provide direct technical assistance to the region, councils, and facilities’ laboratories and ensure that the appropriate resources are available in all sites to maintain the standards of quality laboratory management systems with an adequate number of stocks and other supplies.

The Subawards and Contracts Officer provides efficient and effective contract compliance support to operational and program staff at ICAP central and regional offices, ensuring that narrative and financial reports for sub and service agreements are prepared according to donor requirements. S/he ensures that projects are properly budgeted for and reported on, funds are called forward and transferred in a timely fashion, and that contractual requirements are met.
