Job TITLE: T24 Support Lead

Job Summary:

Responsible for 1st level support of T24, NOBS, Vooma, Internet Banking, Active Directory Users and Mobee application system and responsible for managing day to day incidents and user’s support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigating, diagnosing and resolving T24 and other system incidents assigned within the agreed timelines in the Service Level Agreement.
  • Supporting and troubleshooting cheque processing in Channel manager, Sybrin and ITSM system.
  • Responsible for Issue tracking, resolving and closing NOBS, Mobi, IB, Sybrin, ATM and Credit Cards on Channel Manager Interface.
  • Escalating more complicated and technical problems to the 2nd level support within the IT departments.
  • Ensures that daily status reports are compiled and continually modified to meet the needs of the business as well as reporting to senior managers on any issue that could significantly impact the business.
  • Assisting in the compilation of the Client Support technical documentation, Service Catalogue, guidelines and procedures and ensure they are disseminated to users.
  • Communicating list of T24 System changes and Impacts to Client Support Manager.
  • Producing and maintaining appropriate documentation to the defined ICT team standards, ensuring that new procedures are documented in an efficient and timely manner and that suitable version control is employed.
  • Testing of fixes and changes prior to the promotion of Data Libraries to T24 Live Production.
  • Creating awareness among users and support staff from subsidiaries on utilization of the core banking systems (T24)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology BSc or any related IT degree,
  • Master’s degree in Management OR a Business Related Field is an added advantage
  • Professional qualifications in ITIL
  • Minimum 4 years of experience

 Job Title: IT Manager Infrastructure

Job Summary:

Manage Network and Enterprise Services infrastructure including, Voice and Data Network, servers, virtualization and storage, backup, messaging. Managing Server and workstation Standard build. Data centers, power and environmental monitoring, server performance monitoring. Technical lead for enterprise-related projects. Server and workstation Operating Systems management, Group policy management and share point management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all data centers environmental parameters in Disaster Recovery and Production to ensure data center equipment are working at required environmental parameters. Report and remediate for any deviation
  • Ensure on a daily basis capacity for CPU, RAM and drive utilization all servers in Disaster and Production are being checked and any deviation is reported and remediated.
  • Ensuring that systems configurations and setups for the IT systems comply with the existing IT policies and standards and ensure the same standard is applied across the entire KCB Tanzania bank
  • Design, document, install and support server infrastructure, including Exchange , active directory , operating systems, virtualization, collaboration tools, email clients supports. This includes DR site, the production site, and branch level
  • Ensure all services running on Production Data Centre are also replicated in Disaster site for BCM purposes and documentation is done for recovery. Manage backup for all servers in disaster and production as per policy and ensure restoration tests are conducted  per policy
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on system availability and shared to IT Manager, Compliance and  Service delivery
  • Design, implement and ensure patch deployment is done for all servers and work stations across KCB Tanzania for Microsoft and ant-virus and ensure vulnerability scan is conducted as per policy to identify security gaps and provide a plan for remediation. Ensure daily patch monitoring is done  and remediation is done for those machines that have an infection
  • Ensure change management procedure is followed in all Datacenter interventions and deployment
  • Supervise preventive maintenance (PM)  exercise on Servers and client computers, prepare a PM checklist with the assistance of IT Senior Manager
  • Attend all support calls on ITSM as per SLA between IT and business as well as between IT and Central team
